About the position

As a senior Java Developer, you will belong to one of Aurora Innovation’s three agile and cross functional development teams. A team consists of 4-6 persons, both developers, a tester, and a product owner. The teams have end-2-end responsibilities for different functionality areas in Aurora Innovation’s product like SMS, Web booking and integrations, video, chat, and e-identification, as well as telephony and traffic billing. You will work with software development, mainly in Java.

Your profile

To succeed in this role you have several years of experience working as a Software Developer in an agile team developing SaaS services. We believe that you have a strong Java background and that you have a strong knowledge of agile principles and processes. Furthermore we see that you are comfortable with Spring, SQL, RESTful APIs, and HTTP.

If you have experience with MongoDB, or if you have been a team leader/Scrum master we consider it to be a strong plus. If you speak and read Swedish that is also a plus.

We also see that you have knowledge and experience in some of these areas:
• Linux, Databases, high level programming language etc.
• SIP telephony
• Large distributed systems and microservice architecture
• Hands-on experience with modern Cloud technologies
• API management & Security

Aurora Innovation was established 1996 in Uppsala, Sweden and today has closer to 100 employees working in development, sales, marketing, service delivery and customer success in its Sweden, Finland, the Netherlands and Spain. At the same time, the work environment of health care professionals that manage the unscheduled flow of incoming contact requests is significantly improved.
